I broke the headphone jack on my laptop.
I there any way to fix it, or do I have to get a whole new replacement part.

This actually happened to me not too long ago. There really was no way to fix it, but I bought these ( soon afterwards. The sound quality is just as good as normal headphones, but the cord is kinda long. It's pretty comfortable, too.

One thing you can do that my roommate did is buy a cheap USB soundcard. It's the size of a flash drive and works just fine. I would provide a link, but I don't know where he got it. I bet you could fine one pretty easily though with a Google search.
