My current pc was built back in 2008 or so, and it was a packet pc. Now I've decided to try my hand in building my own rig, as I've heard it's not that hard and my brother built his own too. Now I'm just lacking all the info on what parts to pick. I'm almost a complete newb about pc parts, and so I think the best solution would be to find a nice guy to help me choose cost efficient and good parts that suit my needs. Any pointers on where I maybe should start looking for such a guy? :)

If you're right at the start of your pc-build-plan adventure, I recommend just lurking around in this sub, looking at completed builds and answers to people's build help posts.

If you're in the UK I'd be happy to help with choosing good priced parts and finding deals from our overpriced electronics industry
