Currently I have windows 7 installed. I want to get an SSD and install windows 8 onto that. How do I go about doing that?

Also, should I plug my headphones into the front of my PC or directly into my motherboard? Can I get some sort of headphone plug port to extend it because my headphone wire doesn't reach behind my PC.

It usually doesn't matter where you plug in your headphones but I've heard that the front panel gets a lot of noise running from the motherboard throughout the case. If you want to plug it into the back just look for a 3.5 mm male to female cable, they're everywhere.
